Oil Terminal Services

Our services to oil companies with terminals range from NPDES permit coordination to implementation of complex spill contingency plans during the loading and off-loading of barges on harbors, rivers and other waterways, using booms with skirts and a 150 horsepower boat. By employing our mobile treatment unit we have successfully provided on-site treatment and disposal of tank bottom water. Our services include sampling, analysis and vacuum pumping of heavy hazardous and non-hazardous tank bottom sludges as well as sand blasting material and their transportation and disposal, in accordance with EPA regulations, at approved sites. If appropriate, we employ on-site chemical fixation of non-hazardous tank bottom sludges for landfill disposal or fuel blending for disposal at cement kilns. In the area of static testing, our services have included coordination with the regulatory agencies, acquisition of permits and disposal of liquids.
